  • Welcome to our Second Grade class! I am so happy to be your child's teacher this year. We have many familiar faces and a few new students. We have 16 students in our class.   • HOMEWORK 

    Students will be expected to complete written homework and read every night. Homework will be stamped "homework" and written on their homework assignment sheet.  Written homework will usually consist of completing a math page, occasional book reports and completing minutes on the assigned computer programs. Please remember reading with your child daily is extremely important and expected. 

    Daily Homework

    • Math page
    • Spelling practice 5-10 minutes
    • Read/Math programs for 15 min.

    CELEBRATING BIRTHDAYS

    We will celebrate birthdays in our classroom, but it is optional if your child wants to bring a individually wrapped treat for the class. We will celebrate summer birthdays at the end of the year!
