Music classes at Meadow Lane for this year will cover Group Piano and Recorder! We will be using the Recorder Karate program for recorders, and the Faber Piano Adventures program, with most students going through the Primer Level (beginner) book. More advanced method books are available to students who take private lessons outside of school and need a bit more challenge in the classroom.
Recorder Karate and Piano Adventures will require a one-time purchase of materials through the school shortly after the start of third grade (or when transferring into the district), and the materials should be able to be used all the way through fifth grade. Replacement and optional advanced materials can be purchased upon request.

Resources
While digital pianos provided in the classroom for all students to use, we do not allow students to take these resources home to practice. Should you wish to obtain the same resources for your child to have at home and continue their music education, they can be found below.
