Welcome to 5th Grade!! 

My name is Katherine Midlock, and I am the 5th Grade Math Teacher here at Meadow Lane! Teaching is my passion and I love planning for my groups and teaching the students. I believe every student has the necessary capabilities to learn, and I will do everything in my power to help each and every one! 

Here are a few things about me: 

--I graduated from Illinois State University in 2017 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and minors in Spanish, Language Arts, and Social Sciences. 

--This is my second year teaching 5th grade!

--I am a 3rd generation teacher!

--I have two older brothers and one older sister. 

--I am OBSESSED with the Harry Potter series. It happens to be my classroom theme ;) 

--Polar bears are my favorite animal. 

--I love to run, paint, and journal. 

--My favorite food is Coconut Shrimp. 

--I LOVE Dunkin Donuts iced coffee.
