    • WELCOME!!!
      Welcome to third grade!!!
I am extremely excited to work with you and your child during this school year.
Third grade offers many new learning experiences and I am looking forward to sharing them with your child.

      HOMEWORK SchoolCenter Picture
Each student will be provided with a daily take home folder and student planner.
The folder will be used to transport all handouts, letters, and homework between school and home.
Please check your child's folder on a daily basis.
All assignments will be recorded by the student in his or her student planner.

      SchoolCenter PictureSCHOOL SAFETY
For your child's safety and for a pleasant and productive learning environment, children are expected to maintain reasonable behavior in the classroom, hallways, playground, and on the bus.
Learning to respect and be considerate of others is an important social skill that we encourage in third grade.

      BIRTHDAYS
      Birthdays are the best!!!
Each student's birthday will be recognized during the school year.
If you would like to send treats please know we currently have 22 children in Room 109.
Students will receive a special bracelet on the day we celebrate!

      STAR STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Each month 2 to 3 students will be chosen as the stars of the month.
Every student will have the opportunity to accept this special recognition.
A brief project will accompany the award.
The project will include sharing information, pictures and one item that represents the student best.
Students will be encouraged to be creative.
A summary of guidelines will be provided and sent home with your child.
